“All I got left now is God and my pictures.”

Why Blockr?
A
true souvenir is not a t-shirt from a U2 concert.
A true souvenir is the most meaningful of possessions —
it’s the old shoebox of photos that people
run into a burning building to save. A true souvenir is a physical connection to our past, friends, and family.
At Blockr we make true souvenirs — enduring, beautiful books designed to preserve memories of special events.
Why Events?
Our lives are highlighted by the events we participate in … high school graduation, our son’s first Little League game,
marching in the 4th of July parade, visiting Sturgis, South Dakota for Bike Week. Events are
fun.
They mark our
accomplishments. And they reflect our
passions and
pastimes.
What’s a block?
We
invented the block to keep special memories alive in a book.
They replace the old shoebox. It’s a new concept for a new century … part blog, part book.
Technically, blocks are 30-page books, 6” x 6” square, made in Italy on heavy-sock silver-halide photo paper.
They
open flat like children’s board books and will last a lifetime.
You can share them online or buy one with your picture on the cover. For preserving event memories, there’s nothing better.
What's a blockr?
A blockr is a photographer—amateur or pro—who turns event photography into an event book.
When someone purchases one, the photographer earns a royalty.
In some cases, blockrs donate their time and photography skills to support their PTA, church, or club.
In these cases, the royalty goes to the host organization.
If you’re a photographer who’d like to get published or an organizer looking for a great fundraising opportunity, try making a block!
